Profile

ShiroBRZ.com is a Subaru BRZ enthusiast site run by a long-time Subaru fan and owner named Eric. I recently acquired a 2022 BRZ Limited in Crystal White Pearl and thought it would be fun to share it and its ongoing story with other BRZ enthusiasts. I plan on making a number of mods to it as time goes on, so I see it as an entertaining project as much as it’s my daily driver. ShiroBRZ.com is my way of contributing to the BRZ community and I hope that as time progresses you’ll find my content interesting, useful, and fun.

About myself, I’m a long-time IT professional who lives and works in Western Pennsylvania. I’ve had two WRXs immediately prior to my BRZ, as well as a fairly modded ’07 Honda Fit Sport and a ’04 Scion xB. I am English/Japanese bi-lingual, and while I love cars and driving, I also have a number of other interests as well, music and photography being the next most active. I have been playing guitar for a bit over six years now and keyboards for over thirty five years. I am also a heavy listener with extremely eclectic tastes.

Photographically, I have been shooting for over thirty five years, in both analog and digital formats. I have done paid professional work for a number of years now on the side, focusing primarily on event, automotive, and fine art photography, but not exclusively. I have had a large amount of work exhibited and published both regionally and nationally, and I have taught photography at the local level for quite a few years now. I love the feel of a good camera and the photographic process in general, so I plan to put it to use as a regular part of ShiroBRZ.com as much as possible. If you have any photographic needs, please feel free to contact me at any time as I’m always taking work requests.

And in case you’re wondering, the name ShiroBRZ is Japanese and translates as WhiteBRZ. Shiro (しろ or 白) means white and BRZ is BRZ, so there you go.

Many thanks for visiting my site and participating in my little ongoing BRZ adventure. Your time here is greatly appreciated, so please enjoy it as much as possible.

Eric
